The Veterinary Division is developing innovative applications of the ETView technology platform for veterinary medicine.  Because some veterinary patients are particularly vulnerable to airway trauma, or may be difficult to intubate, a clear view enables precise and controlled intubation with   fewer complications. 

There are many instances in animal husbandry and medicine that call for special precautionary measures.  With the ETView Veterinary Visualization Tube  an emergency vet can rapidly intubate a colicking horse or an injured dog, relying on sight instead of the dangerous method of  “feeling the way in”.  Veterinary surgeons can benefit from a safer procedure for anesthesia, which reduces the risk of pre-surgery injury.

The ETView Veterinary Visualization Tube is an excellent training tool for veterinary medicine students in the classroom and in the operating theater, where the instructor can observe and direct the procedure, offer corrective action, and validate tube position immediately.  For seasoned practitioners who may not have had the opportunity to personally examine the airways of all species, the device is a valuable intubation aid when they are called upon to intubate rare or exotic animals in real-life situations.

The ETView Veterinary Visualization Tube is available in all sizes Fr.8 and larger and in any length.  It is reusable and is suitable for intubation, airway inspection, and other visualization applications and simple diagnostic procedures, eliminating the need for costly endoscopes.
